28-day Foot and Ankle Challenge for the Whole Team
Stronger Foot. More Stable Ankle. Stronger Team.
In sports, we train speed, strength, endurance, coordination, technique, and tactics. However, one of the most important parts of the musculoskeletal system very often takes a backseat - the foot and ankle.
Every acceleration, sprint, jump, landing, deceleration, and change of direction begins the moment the foot makes contact with the ground.
That is why PRO ANKLE TEAM was created - a 28-day foot and ankle challenge for the whole team.
Over 28 days, the team works step-by-step on foot and ankle strength, mobility, stability, balance, and movement control.
The program is designed so that the coach doesn't have to search for dozens of exercises, create a program, and try to figure out how to connect it all into a single system.
We have already created this system.
Athletes receive a structured 28-day program, while the coach can monitor their team's engagement and discipline.
28 Days. One Team. One Challenge. Stronger Foundations.
WHY PRO ANKLE TEAM?
If a team has 20 or 25 players, the coach doesn't need 20 or 25 different programs.
What is needed is a unified system that can be used for the entire team.
PRO ANKLE TEAM helps to systematically work on:
• foot muscle activation;
• arch function;
• toe strength and control;
• ankle mobility;
• ankle stability;
• calf muscle strength;
• balance and proprioception;
• movement control;
• preparing the foot and ankle for athletic load.
The goal is not simply to give the team a list of exercises.
The goal is to create a system and a habit that athletes and coaches can use even after the 28-day challenge ends.
WHO IS PRO ANKLE TEAM FOR?
PRO ANKLE TEAM is designed for organizations and teams that want to work more systematically on athletes' physical foundations.
🏫 Sports schools and sports academies
⚽ Football clubs and teams
🏀 Basketball and other sports teams
🏃 Youth and adult sports teams
💪 Strength and conditioning coaches
👨🏫 Coaches who want to supplement their existing training system
The principles of the program can be used in various sports where running, jumping, landing, acceleration, deceleration, balance, and change of direction are important.
WHAT DOES THE TEAM RECEIVE?
🗓️ Structured 28-Day Challenge
The team works for 28 days according to a unified and progressively designed program.
Each athlete knows clearly what needs to be done on a particular day, and the coach doesn't have to create a separate foot and ankle program.
🎥 Video Exercise Library
Exercises are demonstrated in video format so that the athlete can see the correct execution of the movement and follow the program independently.
The program is built gradually - from simpler foot and toe activation movements to more complex strength, mobility, stability, and balance exercises.
📝 Clear Exercise Descriptions and Instructions
Execution instructions and key technical highlights are available for the exercises.
The goal is not only to tell the athlete "do this", but to help them better understand their body, feet, and ankles.
📊 FOR THE COACH - TEAM ACTIVITY REPORTS
PRO ANKLE TEAM gives the coach the opportunity not only to give players a program but also to monitor their engagement.
Every week, the coach receives a team activity report.
In it, you can see which athletes are participating in the program, how regularly they train, and how much time they dedicate to completing the program.
This allows the coach to see something else very valuable.
Discipline.
Who does the work even when the coach isn't standing next to them?
Who is consistent?
Who takes care of their development?
PRO ANKLE TEAM thus becomes not only a physical preparation challenge but also an opportunity to foster responsibility, discipline, and a more professional attitude towards one's body within the team.
🏆 FOR THE MOST DILIGENT - PRIZES
We also add a competitive and motivational element to the 28-day challenge.
The most diligent and disciplined team members will be rewarded with prizes provided by PRO ANKLE TEAM supporter KOMANDA.LV.
This gives athletes extra motivation not only to start the challenge but to complete all 28 days.
However, the main prize remains what the athlete invests in themselves - knowledge about their body and work on foundations that they will use in the future.
WHY EXACTLY 28 DAYS?
The goal is not to perform a few exercises once and forget about them after a week.
The goal is to help create a habit.
Over 28 days, athletes systematically learn various elements of foot and ankle development - starting with toe and foot activation and continuing with mobility, stability, strength, balance, and movement control.
The athlete begins not only to train the foot.
They begin to pay attention to it and understand its importance.
HOW TO INCORPORATE IT INTO THE TEAM'S TRAINING PROCESS?
Working with the feet and ankles doesn't necessarily have to become another separate full-scale team training session.
The principles and exercises of the program can also be used in the existing training process:
before training - in activation and warm-up processes;
during training - in strength, stability, balance, and movement control work;
after training - in mobility, stretching, and self-massage work.
Thus, working with the foot and ankle can gradually become part of the team's daily training culture, rather than something we only address when a problem has already arisen.
WHY START ALREADY IN YOUTH AGE?
The young athlete's body is still developing.
It is during this period that we form movement habits and physical foundations that the athlete will use for many years.
We teach a child to run.
We teach them to jump.
We teach them to land.
We teach them to change direction.
But underneath all of that lies the foot.
The earlier an athlete consciously uses their toes, controls their foot and ankle, and builds stable contact with the ground, the better physical foundation can be built for their future development.
NOT JUST FOR 28 DAYS
The goal of PRO ANKLE TEAM is not to say after day 28: "That's it, the program is finished."
Quite the opposite.
The goal is for the coach and athletes to gain exercises, principles, and understanding that can be used in the future.
This means that the acquired knowledge can become part of the team's training process even after the challenge ends.
WHY DID I CREATE PRO ANKLE TEAM?
I have traveled the path from youth football to professional football.
My professional football career ended much earlier than I had planned - due to a severe ankle injury.
Later, becoming a coach and working with young footballers for years, I increasingly realized how little attention we often dedicate to the very foundations in athletes' daily preparation - the toes, foot, and ankle.
Today I often think:
"If only I had known some of what I know now at the beginning of my football career."
That is why I want to pass on this knowledge.
Not just to one athlete.
To entire teams.
So that coaches and sports organizations have a ready-made system with which this work can begin today.
